Don't Waste Time At Micro Limits. So to answer the main question I would not suggest starting at 2NL (1 cent/2 cent), even if you're crushing it. You're talking about making pennies per hour, and it's not going to be worth your time. I would suggest starting something like 25NL, or 50NL, so 10cent/25cent or 25cent/50cent respectively.
Here are a few I've seen lately. 1. The micros are just too fishy to be beat for any decent win rate. 2. The micros are too hard to be beat since UIGEA. 3. The FTR regs at higher limits don't know how tough the micros have gotten lately. 4. The variance is so high at the micros, I'd be better off moving up.
